Bright Future: Solar Power in Santa Barbara |
|
| In this special documentary, you'll see how the City leads by example. The City of Santa Barbara has recently completed installation of the largest solar energy project within the city. Using an innovative financing arrangement, a third party will pay for, maintain, and operate the system, and sell the energy back to the City - reducing the City’s use of energy from the traditional energy grid. The electricity generated from the panels will supply over half the demand for the City's operations at their Corporate Yard Building. | ![]() |
