Inside Santa Barbara is produced by the City of Santa Barbara and hosted by local television journalist Rachel Acenas. The show is a monthly, thirty-minute, news magazine program that informs Santa Barbara citizens about City issues, events, projects and the wide array of services our city government provides in a clear and entertaining manner.

IThis episode of Inside Santa Barbara takes place during Earth Day at the County Courthouse Sunken Gardens. In this episode, we continue to take an in-depth look at Plan Santa Barbara, the City’s General Plan update. In addition, City TV crews take a walk on Carrillo Hill, where sidewalk improvements will enhance the pedestrian experience. Also, Channel 18 goes inside the Job Shadow Program, where local high school students learned the ins and outs of different City jobs.

Also in this episode, find out what’s taking flight that the Santa Barbara Airport. The show also educates viewers about how they c can help protect the City’s Urban Forest. Also, Santa Barbara is looking good! City TV also goes inside the public library system, where library programs are playing a significant part in the lives of local families.
